Vivid color for short hair in DC

Vivid color is for anyone with hair 4 inches or shorter, any gender and any texture: a Bright Chapter is $275 and takes 2 hours, after a free consult and a strand test, in my studio a five-minute walk from Dupont Circle Metro.

Red, violet, teal, a full rainbow or a bright platinum. A Bright Chapter is lightening and vivid color in one visit. Short hair is where vivids work best: less length to lighten, and the color stays bright when the cut is fresh.

Before your Bright Chapter, we meet on video for the free 15-minute consult, then do a strand test, so I know how your hair lifts and how the color will land. Every color I offer, I have worn, including the red and the citrine in these photos.

Lightening and vivids take time. At 4 inches or shorter, I can lift and color evenly inside two hours.

How long do vivids last?

Bright shades fade faster than natural ones. A Gloss & Go between visits keeps them bright.

Yes, for every Bright Chapter. It shows how your hair lifts before we start.
