Short haircuts for every expression
Short haircuts are for anyone with hair chin length or shorter, or ready to go short, any gender and any texture: a Shape is $85 and takes 45 minutes, in my studio a five-minute walk from Dupont Circle Metro.
A Shape is a dry cut. I cut your hair as it lives, curl by curl or section by section, with scissors and clipper-over-comb work, so the shape grows out the way you wear it.
Going short for the first time? We talk through how short, what you want your hair to say and how much styling you want at home, then I cut. If you add color, I cut first, so the color lands on the new shape.
No fades. Wear a fade? Keep your barber. I do the shape on top and the color; they keep the sides sharp.

Questions
How often should I book a Shape?
Every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on how short you go.
Do you cut wet?
No. Every Shape is a dry cut, so I see your hair the way you wear it.
Do you cut fades?
No. Keep your barber for the fade; I do the shape on top and the color.
