Gray blending for short hair, near Dupont Circle
Gray blending is for anyone with short hair going gray, any gender and any texture: a Gloss & Go is $95 and takes 45 minutes, in my studio a five-minute walk from Dupont Circle Metro.
Gray is a color, and short hair is the easiest place to grow into it. I don’t try to erase it. I tone it so it sits with the rest of your hair and your skin, and the grow-out has no hard line.
Guests come in with a pixie, a curly crop, or a close taper and a beard they keep as is. The approach is the same for all of them: I blend the gray on top so it reads with the sides and the beard. If your barber keeps your taper, they still do; I do the color.

Questions
Will gray blending turn my hair one flat color?
No. It softens the contrast and keeps some of your gray showing.
How long does a Gloss & Go last?
It fades gradually. Most guests come back every 6 to 8 weeks.
Can I go fully silver from dyed hair?
